This unique and exclusive batik painting on cotton is delicately hand drawn using the ‘canting’ and ‘tulis’ methods, whereby hot wax is flown from the canting’s tiny, downward-curving spouts straight onto the cotton cloth decorously then vividly painted by the grand master artist of batik, M. Yono. Beautiful evergreen bamboos attract a myriad of insects towards it. The artisan creatively paints this masterpiece with vivid colours on a white background using his masterful touch. This exquisite painting is done by using several complex batik techniques that only a handful of master batik artists in the world can implement.
