Batik Prada Art Painting, ‘Traditional Horse Chariot Racing’ by Wahid (45cm x 75cm)
45cm (W) x 75cm (H)
Folk Art, Traditional
This unique and exclusive batik painting on cotton is delicately hand drawn using the ‘canting’ and ‘tulis’ methods, whereby hot wax is flown from the canting’s tiny, downward-curving spouts straight onto the cotton cloth decorously then vividly painted by the up coming batik artist, Wahid. Batik prada is a unique batik technique whereby gold dust is used on top of the batik painting to create a luxurious effect.
Wahid paints a picture of ancient horse chariot racing in Nusantara culture.
The frame is not included and it is used for illustration purposes only.
